Targeted Energy:

Applies heat energy as liquids are being drawn from storage tanks.

Lo-Density® Tank Suction Heating Systems

Because they are designed to heat material only as it is being drawn from a storage tank, Suction Heating Systems provide significant energy cost savings.

Only heat your product when needed. The system applies energy to liquids as they are being drawn from storage tanks. Sizes are available up to 600 kW. asdfasdfas

Reduce your energy consumption. Reduce or eliminate your storage tank maintenance heating requirements. Suction Heating Systems apply 100% of the energy consumed into your product – and only when needed.

Installation is simple. Cut a round opening in the tank head or sidewall, install the heater assembly and weld it liquid-tight. The UL-listed control panel is factory-mounted and wired to the heaters. All temperature controls and sensors are factory installed.

Enjoy 100%-efficient, economical operation. PHCo Lo-Density® electric heaters are 100% efficient the day they are installed, and are still 100% efficient after 20, 30 – and even more years of service. Pinpoint-heating puts the energy where it is needed, with no wasted energy.

Maintenance is a breeze. With our flange-mounted heater bundle, the entire assembly can be removed from the tank for cleaning and maintenance.

Lo-Density® Technology

All heaters are built with our Lo-Density® design to eliminate the possibility of coking or damaging your temperature-sensitive products. Heating elements carry our standard 5-year replacement guarantee, and are listed by ETL.

Drywell Design

Heating elements are installed in 3-inch O.D. x .065-inch tubing (drywells). The elements are accessible from outside the tank, eliminating the need to drain it when servicing the elements.

Environmentally Friendly

No burners. No fossil fuels. No stacks to monitor for emissions. No air-quality or boiler permits to worry about.

UL-Listed Controls

Operation is completely automatic. The main indicating temperature control regulates the discharge product temperature. A high-limit control is included for safety. Main disconnect and individual fused heat circuits provide overcurrent protection. All components are mounted and prewired in a NEMA Type-4 enclosure.
